TAPE AND STICK
National's answer for those requiring reliable and simple tank gauging without bringing in power sources and expenses of electrical systems.

TAPES: A flexible, high quality STANLEY tm tape measure totally encapsulated in a tough polyolefin jacket provides easy manual indication of liquid level in drums or tote tanks. Simply unscrew the dust cap, pull out the tape until it couples with the float, and take a reading. When done reverse the procedure replacing the dust caps. Tapes may be used in pressure vessels or in hazardous locations and have the distinct advantage of being able to be bent to obtain readings when installed in a lower tote in a "stacked" installation.

STICKS: Using the same principles as a tape, yet the STICK is rigid and can be set to "ride" with the changing liquid level. STICK indicators use larger floats to provide lifting forces for the lightweight "sticks". STICKS can be provided with .25" graduations or reflective colored bands for "at a glance" readings at night or from a distance.

Both TAPES and STICKS are available in Stainless, Brass, or PVC materials.
